Twin Springs Farm

Twin Springs Farm is a 76 acre farm located in Nelson County Virgina. We use ecological farming practices, biological sustainable agriculture methods, and do not use any harmful herbicides, pesticides, or chemicals of any type. Our growing methods include the use of compost, compost tea, cover crops, foliar feeding with fish emulsion and sea minerals. We grow Blueberries, Strawberries and other seasonal produce and herbs that we provide through direct market, farm markets, and limited wholesale. We have salad greens available year around utilizing unheated high tunnels during the fall and winter months. We are actively invovled in the Virginia Association for Biological Farming (VABF) the Southern Sustainable Agricultural Working Group (SSAWG), and the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition.
