Tender perennial grown as an annual in our area. When I first started saving Thunbergia seeds several years ago I was dismayed to find out all the seeds I had collected had broken open and expelled themselves out of their container onto my counter top. If you decide to collect the seeds, harvest them just as they begin to turn brown and leave them to dry enclosed in a paper bag until they pop out of their casings. You may hear them pop like popcorn.
